5-vehicle crash in Kajang leaves woman seriously injured

KUALA LUMPUR: Six people were injured in a five-vehicle crash, including an ambulance, on Jalan Kajang Perdana this morning.

Three men and two women sustained minor injuries, while a female motorcyclist is being treated for serious injuries.

The Kajang Fire and Rescue Department in a statement said they received a distress call on the accident at 9.50am, involving a van, an ambulance, a car, and two motorcycles.

The female motorcyclist, who was trapped, was successfully rescued by firemen on the scene, who arrived at 10am.

The rescue was led by operation commander Mohd Salleh Bahran.
