KULAI: A 32-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a three-vehicle collision on Km43.8 of the North-South Expressway (southbound), last night (Nov 13).
The multiple-vehicle accident, which took place at 10.54pm, also involved a lorry and a car.
Kulai police chief Superintendent Tan Seng Lee said initial investigations showed that the victim crashed into the rear of the lorry, which had broken down in the emergency lane.
Seconds later, a car trailing behind, driven by a 59-year-old man, crashed into the motorcyclist after being unable to stop in time.
The motorcyclist died on the spot due to head injuries.
The other drivers were unharmed.
