LIPIS: Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail attended his first public event at the Laman Sejahtera Jelai in Sungai Koyan here since undergoing heart surgery at the National Heart Institute (IJN) on June 7.
The Umno vice-president and Cameron Highlands Umno division chairman was present at the division delegates' meeting today, which was opened by party president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
Clad in light pink Baju Melayu complete with sampin, Wan Rosdy delivered the opening speech and would be followed by Zahid.
He returned to work on July 24 but only attended office-related matters and indoor meetings but not outdoor programmes.
Wan Rosdy began his duty by chairing the weekly Pahang executive council meeting at Wisma Sri Pahang on July 24.
He was admitted to IJN on June 6 and returned home on June 14 before going on medical leave for about two months.
