"Most of the patients admitted to the hospital were due to the hot weather in Arafah, Muzdalifah and Mina resulting in some pilgrims falling ill due to lung-related problems," he told members of the media after visiting the Tabung Haji Hospital, here yesterday.

Also present were TH chairman Tan Seri Abdul Rashid Hussain, chief executive officer Syed Hamadah Syed Othman, Malaysian haj delegation head Datuk Seri Syed Saleh Syed Abdul Rahman and two board members Datuk Seri Dr Mohammed Azman Aziz Mohammed and Abdul Mokhti Salleh.
