KUALA LUMPUR: Professional dance teacher Linda Jasmine Hashim, 52, says her life has remained largely unchanged following her divorce from actor Que Haidar, 46.
Speaking at the 2024 Nona Superwoman Awards, Linda shared that her relationship with Que remains amicable for the sake of their children.
"Before marrying Que, I was already used to managing everything on my own. So, there's no real difference now.
"Our relationship is fine. We divorced amicably, Alhamdulillah, and there are no issues between us," she told Harian Metro.
Linda also expressed gratitude for the positive response from netizens, crediting her decision to keep personal matters off social media.
"I've always believed private matters should stay private. Sharing personal issues online only invites unnecessary drama, so I avoid it entirely.
"Thankfully, our story didn't become a major social media topic, and I've been able to focus on moving forward as a single mother," she said.
Que, whose real name is Tengku Iskhan Shah Tengku Haidar, revealed last October that the couple had divorced on July 2, 2024, after 15 years of marriage.
Linda and Que tied the knot on Feb 14, 2009, and share two daughters, Tengku Ratu Haidar, 16, and Tengku Cleopatra Haidar, 13.
Linda also has a son, Qalif Khan, 24, from a previous marriage.
