#SHOWBIZ: The Gadys aim high with 'Bullseye'

VIBRANT pop trio The Gadys, comprising Aznie, Ayunie and Thamiera, are known for their infectious energy, bold identity and music that resonates with Malaysia's younger generation.

With catchy melodies, intricate harmonies and uplifting messages, the group has carved a niche in the local music scene.

Rising to fame with hit singles that dominated digital charts, The Gadys have captivated fans with their dynamic stage presence and engaging performances.

Continuously evolving, their sound blends modern electronic pop and dance elements with lyrics that inspire and connect deeply with listeners.

Their latest release, 'Bullseye', is a spirited anthem produced by Romeo and Shane Kennedy, the creative duo behind the group's earlier hits like 'Cuti Raya' and 'Gagal Cinta'.

The song captures the determination and resilience needed to achieve life goals.

Aznie, speaking on behalf of the group, likened the song's theme to playing darts: "Even if you miss the bullseye, you keep trying.

"It's a reminder to focus on what matters and not be distracted by negativity.

"This song reflects our journey as a group, overcoming doubts and striving to improve.

"'Bullseye' is for anyone chasing their dreams," she said.

To celebrate the release, The Gadys recently organised a special fan activation event at The Wedge in Petaling Jaya, where they brought the 'Bullseye' music video to life.

The music video features vibrant colours and elements that symbolise the group's journey and personalities.

Thamiera explained: "We wanted each set in the music video to tell a story while connecting to the main theme of focus and determination.

"Despite challenges during production, we ensured the visuals captured the energetic and empowering vibe of the song."

Ayunie shared insights into the recording process, highlighting the challenges of tackling an upbeat pop track for the first time.

With guidance from vocal coach Cikgu Delly and producer Karazey, the group achieved the sound they envisioned.

"This track embodies perseverance and courage. It's about pushing past obstacles to realise your dreams," she said.

Fans can stream 'Bullseye' now on Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music.
