#SHOWBIZ: Injured Nur Nilam still makes Thai green paste, while husband Azlan needs surgery

KUALA LUMPUR: Despite being involved in a recent road accident, celebrity couple Azlan Komeng and Nur Nilam Ortiz have no intention of seeking public donations.

Nur Nilam, 46, stated that they can still manage their online business selling Thai green paste to support themselves.

In a recent TikTok post, Nur Nilam addressed questions about starting a crowdfunding campaign, especially as her husband Azlan requires surgery due to injuries from the accident.

"God willing, we can get by with what we earn from this small online business. It's enough to cover necessities like diapers and milk," she said.

"We're thankful to those supporting us by buying the paste, which costs RM18.90 per pack. However, I'm only able to prepare 500 packs at the moment, as I'm still recovering."

Last week, Nur Nilam revealed that the couple was involved in a head-on collision with a van in Kuala Lipis, Pahang, while en route to set up a vendor booth.

Azlan suffered serious injuries, including a fractured arm, legs, and hip bones, and will require surgery.
