KUALA LUMPUR: After a month of 'seclusion' from updating new posts on his Instagram (IG) account, award-winning director Syamsul Yusof has finally uploaded some new photos.
Interestingly, the 40-year-old director appeared wearing a dark green, long-sleeved shirt and sported a shorter haircut.
Two other photos shared by the director of Mat Kilau and Munafik showed him with his production team in a meeting room, and a Ferrari car.
Netizens welcomed Syamsul's return to IG, and some of them asked if his new appearance and the car were related to his coming movies.
"Hope you are not going to play the Joker, bro," said one netizen, referring to Syamsul's green shirt and haircut.
"Long time no see, Syamsul. We miss you," said another.
Meanwhile, Syamsul's wife Ira Kazar has also become active on IG.
Of late she has uploaded photos of herself with family members, self-motivational videos and her favourite eateries.
On Aug 27, Syamsul and Ira were supposed to appear in court for their divorce proceedings, but Syamsul did not turn up and had his lawyer represent him.
The divorce case has been postponed to Sept 25.
Syamsul filed for divorce against Ira at the Gombak Timur Lower Syariah Court on Aug 19.
Syamsul and Ira were married on Jan 6 last year.
Following their marriage which took place in Southern Thailand, Syamsul's first wife, actress Puteri Sarah filed for divorce, and this was officially granted by the Syariah Court on June 14.
