KUALA LUMPUR: Actor and comedian, Harith Iskander, 58, and ex-wife, Dr Jezamine Lim, 41, have agreed to raise their children together.
The popular artiste said that the decision was made to create a more comfortable environment for raising children, according Harian Metro.
Harith added that part of the agreement was for him to receive visiting rights and to be able to spend the night with his three children.
"We have come to a joint custody agreement. The children will stay with Jezamine and I will also be given visitation and overnight rights.
"God willing, there will be no issue of fighting over the children. We've now reached a stage where we agree to all of the steps that have been taken.
"This is all for the children's comfort, enjoyment and to prove to them that our love has not changed," he said in the news report.
Harith was met at the proceedings of the hadanah and matrimonal property claims at the Federal Territory Syariah High Court, here, today.
The Buli Balik and Cuci actor added that there were no problems with regard to claims on the matrimonal assets since they were still working together in managing several companies.
"We are still together to manage several companies. Responsibilities have not changed because Jezamine is still my manager," he said.
On July 25, Harith legally divorced Dr Jezamine with one 'talak' at the Federal Territory Lower Syariah Court here.
The divorce took place because there was no longer any understanding between them.
Harith and Dr Jezamine tied the knot on June 12, 2010.
They have three children, namely Zander Xayne, 14, Alessandra Jayne, 11, and Zydane Zayne, 9.
