KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Rakyat is set to introduce its latest financial product, 'My First Credit Card-i' at Muslimah Fest 2024.
The three-day festival will run from Dec 20-22 at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre here, offering visitors a unique shopping and learning experience.
Muslimah Fest 2024 will feature more than 70 local muslimah brands, including Rockqueen by Ella, Alhumaira, Wardah Beauty and Fiziwoo.
The festival is expected to attract over 15,000 visitors from Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley as they prepare for Ramadan and Aidilfitri celebrations.
The festival will also spotlight a series of events, including the 'Elegance Unveiled: The Hijab Runway by Bank Rakyat' fashion show, makeup tutorials with Wardah Beauty, and engaging forums such as 'Life as a Content Creator and Businesswoman' and 'Santai Namun Sampai: Bank Rakyat Entrepreneurs' Forum.'
Through the event, Bank Rakyat aims to promote Shariah-compliant financial products, such as the Muslimah Credit Card-i, while fostering a holistic muslimah lifestyle that aligns with Islamic values.
"This festival is not just a celebration of fashion and lifestyle but also a platform to empower women entrepreneurs and enhance their business opportunities," the bank said.
The event also aligns with the government's vision for a cashless society, encouraging cashless transactions.
