JAKARTA: Indonesia exported 2.38 million metric tons of palm oil products in August, up 15 per cent from a year earlier, data from the country's main palm oil industry association, GAPKI, showed on Tuesday.
Crude palm oil output from Indonesia, the world's biggest producer of the vegetable oil, was 3.99 million tons in August, up from 3.62 million tons in July.
The higher exports saw Indonesia's stocks fall to 2.45 million tons at the end of August from 2.51 million tons a month earlier.
